When does the Chester Ghost Tour run?
Every Saturday evening throughout the year at 7.30pm.
Extra tours run on Friday evenings in April, May, November & December and Thursday evenings from June to October.  Extra Ghost Tours run over the Halloween period.

1.5 hrs

Where does the Chester Ghost Tour start?
Tours depart from the Town Hall Visitor Information Centre on Northgate Street. Please click here for a map of the location. 

How much do tickets cost?
Tickets cost £6 for adults, £5 for children. Family tickets are available for £17.00.
For all concessionary tickets booked online relevant ID must be brought with you on the night of the tour.

Do we need to book in advance?
If possible, yes!  Our Ghost Tours can be very busy so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets may be available on the night from the Shropshire Arms public house on Northgate Street but these are subject to availability if there are any left to sell after the Visitor Information Centre has closed. 

Can I book online for the Chester Ghost Tour?

Is the Chester Ghost Tour suitable for Children?
Yes, our Ghost tours are suitable for all ages, although children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult.  Some ghost stories may not be suitable for really young children, but they can participate in our tours at the parents' discretion.

Is the Chester Ghost Tour accessible?
Yes - as long as we know your requirements in advance.  There are some steep steps and cobbled streets on the Ghost Tour but we can use a more accessible route if you tell us at the time of booking.

What happens if the weather is bad?
The Chester Ghost Tour will go ahead whatever the weather. Please wear suitable clothing & footwear as some parts of the tour may become slippery in wet weather. Other useful items to bring would be torch (not essential) and an umbrella for our lovely British weather!!

Can I make a private booking?
Yes. Private Ghost Tours of Chester are available all year round - please click here to make a booking.   

Can I bring dogs on the tour?
Unfortunately our policy is not to allow dogs onto our public Ghost Tours for the courtesy of other customers unless they are a guide/assistance dog. 
If you have booked an exclusive tour for your party then you may bring along a well-behaved dog at the discretion of the guide.
